Aggie is a biodesigner with a background in industrial design.

Her practice combines material research, digital fabrication, and prototyping, with particular experience in 3D printing and design for manufacturing.

She explores how biological processes and manufacturing systems can be brought together to develop more responsive and sustainable ways of making.

From industrial production to living systems

My industrial design training introduced me to mechanical production, material efficiency, and repeatable manufacturing.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in living systems—their capacity to grow, respond, and transform within processes that conventional manufacturing often treats as fixed. This led me to pursue MA Biodesign at Central Saint Martins, where I now work across biology, materials, fabrication, and product development.

Towards life-integrated manufacturing

I am interested in production systems that work with biological behaviour rather than treating living organisms only as passive resources.

Through material experiments, prototypes, and industry collaboration, I explore biodegradable polymers, microalgae, living materials, and additive manufacturing.

My work focuses on how these materials can be cultivated, processed, scaled, maintained, and integrated into existing manufacturing contexts.
